GWYGH, Ep. 108: Garbage Bells

Garbage bells, podcast smells, Janine laid an egg! Kate-mo-bile lost a wheel and this description got away, hey!

Or... something like that.

Kate and Janine keep getting sucked back into the 90s, but that's okay, because where would the 2000s be without pervasive 90s nostalgia? After all, we're always wondering why things were so much better 5-10 years ago. Nostalgia stay goggles firmly on, kids!

This episode is more freestyle than some of our usual episodes, but we touch on topics such as pop-punk and sexy Grinch.

The holidays are coming, and if you want some sweet GWYGH merch, check out our TeePublic linked on our website, or google "TeePublic GWYGH"! Because what would a podcast be without shameless self-promotion, right? Hey, you sometimes pay to listen to us!

GWYGH, Ep. 085: Hot and Healthy New Year

On the second day of Trashmas... Kate and Janine discuss classic 2000s icons: Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton, including a brief mention of Paris Hilton's 2008 holiday mobile postcards. GWYGH, Ep. 032: Valentine Violence

Even if you're having the worst Valentine's day ever, at least you're not being chased by a pickaxe murder, right? Doyin from Pour Life Decision joins Janine to celebrate February 14th by watching My Bloody Valentine 3-D (2009), a slasher film so weak it hides behind its 3-D effects and hopes you will forgive it for a weak plot and bad acting. But when you're watching a 3-D movie on a 2-D screen at home, you cut right to the bloody heart in a box of chocolates: squishy, overdramatic, and certainly a waste of perfectly good sweets.

GWYGH, Ep. 029: Murder, Actually

Christmas is right around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than to murder-ize your favorite holiday romance? Liz and Josh from Bloody Date Night join Janine to tear into a beloved Christmas movie: Love Actually (2003). Clouded by a star-studded cast, this jam-packed collection of interwoven love stories is either a movie you defend passionately or hate fiercely. If you despise the film, you’ll appreciate our ranked list of the characters by how creepy they are . If you love the film, well, maybe you’ll get a chuckle out of our pitch for the horror remake of the film, Love Axe-ually. Either way, there’s something for everyone when discussing this divisive classic!

This is our last episode of the year as we’re taking a little hiatus for the holidays. See you in 2019!

GWYGH, Mini Ep. 024: Dust Belt

How do you get those designer shoes you've been eyeing but you can't afford? Simple: slap some dirt on your kid and send 'em off to the department store! If you don't give in to a child's demands, you're a heartless monster. Kate introduces Janine to a morbid, overwrought holiday song: Christmas Shoes by New Song.

GWYGH, Ep. 028: Christmas Spirit Shortage

Kicking off December right, Kate offers Janine two fun Christmas movies from 2003 with wildly different vibes: Bad Santa or Elf.

Tell your friends about GWYGH! Guaranteed to be "lighthearted fun on a cracker," according to Kate's mom's wonderful review. We love you!

Thank you so much to Paul from Plug in Missing for the amazing jingle featured in this episode!
